The Legend Of Heroes

Carton For All - This series was first released in 1989 as Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes, and is part of the game Dragon Slayer Nihon Falcom. The film was released for various computer platforms, as well as consoles such as Mega Drive, Super Famicom, and PC Engine. The PC Engine version will be the only version to be released in English, and the only Legend of Heroes title released in North America until 2005. Meanwhile, in Japan, the series continues with Dragon Slayer:

The Legend of Heroes II, released in 1992 for a choice of similar platforms. The next game in this series dropped the "Dragon Exterminator" from the title. The Legend of Heroes III, The Legend of Heroes IV, and The Legend of Heroes V consists of "Gagharv trilogy", a set of connected games that occur in the same world. After the conclusion of the Gagharv trilogy, a new story begins with a new trilogy, the trails of The Trails in the Sky. The three titles in it, First Round, Second Half and Third Round are collectively the sixth entry in this series.

Falcom switched to duology for the seventh entry, which consisted of The Legend of Heroes VII: Zero no Kiseki in 2010, and The Legend of Heroes VII: Ao no Kiseki in 2011. After that, the company moved to Trails of Cold Steel subseries, released the first title in 2013, the second in 2014, and the third in 2017, with the fourth and final title planned to be released in 2018. Although initially it has a record that is inconsistent with the English language release, in 2017, nine of the thirteen titles have been localized. English releases include original titles by Falcom itself, the Gagharv trilogy by Namco Bandai, and the Trails in the Sky trilogy and the first two titles from the Trails of Cold Steel series by Xseed Games.




 The Legend Of Heroes
